I'm super inspired now! And I hope it does last long!
For those who weren't informed, I'm in school camp since the 9th!
Maybe I shouldn't describe it as a camp.. Well it's more like a stay-in-seminar...
The Loft (the place I'm staying in) apartments are so nice! Like IKEA showroom!
I'm staying with lovely PAMMIE and Laura!
HAHA! Took many photos! Will put up soon when the photographers posts them on facebook:)

I just watched the movie PAY IT FORWARD with the rest of Cohort 2.

I believe one person can really make a difference.
Sometimes, you might not see your effort pay off immediately.
But you'll never know that that at that particular moment something you did might bless someone and change their lives!
In the show, different people "passed on" the act of doing something good to 3 other people when someone did so to them.
And it started from an eleven yr old boy who was given this assignment during social studies "Think of an idea to change our world and put it into action".

It's hard for some ppl to change cos they are so used to things where they are, they cant give them up, so they don't change.
But there's a realm of possibiity in each of us! which is our mind!
I don't wanna stay stagnant!

Mahatma Gandhi once famously said: “You must be the change you want to see in the world.”

It reminded me of Mat 5: 1-12.
The Beatitudes
1. Blessed are the poor - or poor in spirit – who do not trust in status or riches
2. Blessed are those who mourn – who grieve over the injustice in the world
3. Blessed are the meek – who get angry but who never get aggressive
4. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness - who seek justice
5. Blessed are the merciful – who are compassionate to everyone in need
6. Blessed are the pure in heart – who are whole-hearted in desire to do right
7. Blessed are the peacemakers – who work for peace in a world at war
8. Blessed are those persecuted for righteousness - who suffer for just causes

If we commit to practice the Be-Attitudes, we can be the change we want to see in the world.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change,
the courage to change the one I can,
and the wisdom to know it is me!
Big people can do big things.
But I'm only a small and one person.
What can I do?
What can I change?
Use me God- A vessel that You pour forth Your love overflowing.
Great things happened before.
I know it is me trying to do impossibly big things
It's You who enabled the little people like me to doing lots of the little things I can do.
As little people, I know that there is nothing big I can do to change the world.

But that doesn’t mean there is nothing I can do.
I can be the change I want to see in the world.
Show me the way, Lord.
Draw me away from my business.
Teach me to observe and learn.

That I can shine in Your name, serving others with love.
I'm willing to persistently do all the little things I wish others would do, but don’t do, myself.
Help me to stand unwaviered in Your promises, always.
Thank You Jesus.
I love and praise you.

Amen.

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. -Psalm 118:24
