While I was walking from the bus stop to Hougang Mall, the sun was still up in the sky. I was thinking.. Shiok Shiok! Can tan today! Wooo!
Then, I had Mac Breakfast with dear dear. And after I finished my breakfast.. the sky turn cloudy and grey! It's gonna RAIN =.=
So after much thought, we decided on going to Seng Kang's indoor pool. Hoping that the dark clouds have not been blown to Seng Kang. When we reached Seng Kang, IT HAS ALREADY RAIN!!!!
I was uber disappointed! So we headed to my house to do the backup of the files in my comp in preparation for reformatting. It was already about 11 plus 12. Guess what! At about 1 plus! The sun's back agn!!!! YAY!!!
SOOOOO! I went swimming! Quite good progress today:) Dear bought me goggles and float board. So I was able to open my eyes in the water!!! Big achievement!!! I could never open my eyes under water even when wearing googles! Plus, I could swim with the help of the float board:) I just need to practise! practise! practise! Especially kicking of my legs! Need to get used to it..
Dance with Xue Hui was great!!! Girls style. I like the choreo a lot. Although I could not do it like her, I tried my best:) Performance is this on sat!!! Kan Jiong! Really hope we could put up a gd one. JIA YOU!!!

We went swimming today, supposedly at the SK recreation centre but IT'S ON MAINTAINANCE every MON!!! We only knew that when we reached there!
So da jia qing zhu yi! It's not open on mon!
Yea.. We went Hougang Swimming Complex instead.. after trying to hail a cab for half an hour while walking to a bus stop.. took bus there in the end..

For helping me overcome my water phobia! Woo!!
I started with putting my head in the water, then squarting, sitting in the water... trying to regulate my breathing, after that with his support I was able to swim a lil..
I think I just need to know how to coordinate my legs, hands and head now!!!

Then, both of us went home for wash up before we meet to go Vivo.
Dear dear actually wanted to treat me Manhatten at Dhoby. Heh.. BUT he ate at home already =.= Still he pampered me with a gd meal at GreenHouse Cafe.
It's quite a nice place, cottage style with that sells flowers and food. Price quite affordable too! It's like $18.90 for beef steak with soup, drink, salad, mashed potato and dessert! Awesome! Pictures pictures!
Then before we went off, we met Yui xiong aka. Bush, who is working at this ice cream shop and he treated us! Heee! Green tea, durian, chocolate and strawberry ice cream! It's like 94 -97% fat free! HA! V v nice! I love the green tea one, while dear likes the chocolate (expected).
So while waiting for him to knock off.. We took somemore photos!

And I just received an email from school that says all the group leaders/assistant group leaders for the pre-summer immersion camp (10-12 jun) GOTTA CHECK IN AT 9 jun, 3pm!!! WTHECK! First, I DIN KNOW I'M THE LEADER IN THE FIRST PLACE! Second, I can only be at Loud Camp on the 8 jun. Third, I can't perform with Loud Crew if performance is not on the 8 jun.

Do not fear
1) for the Lord is with us

HAPPY 21st Birthday Sermin!!!!
You have been a dear friend to me. And you know that! It was a happy-sad day. For those who don't know, Jie Yong is my connect group leader. He has officially left N283 to another cell group. This cg was his last with N283 and service tml was his last with us too. Although it was Sermin's Bday on Fri, after hearing this news, most of us broke down. Of course, I couldn't take it too. Crying has been my forte, especially it's about.. relationship and separation.
I still remembered when I was first informed that I'm transfered to his connect group, I was elated, as I knew that I could learn so much from his life and I aim to catch as much as I could. I could say we aren't very close. We might be from the same cell group for at least 3 years, but I think the only starting point where we got to know each other was 2-3 months ago. It's just so short for me. Too short to get into a person's life. But I've learned much- the heart for God. I would never forget how we went beyond the spiritual disciplines. Thank you Jie Yong for leading the way.
I know I won't be on my own in this walk, there's still you and the rest of N283, and of course, God. I believe we'll all grow stronger in our spiritual walk with Him.
To Jieyong: I don't know if you'll read my blog. One of the very very memorable time I had with you was the time when I went over Liting's house to practice singing a song that you've composed in appreciation for N283. Although I couldn't remember the verses, the chorus meant a lot to me. I sang it with all my heart. I would like to dedicate it back to you:)

Moses, A friend of God
What is a friend? Friendship is a term used to denote (1) co-operative and supportive behavior between two or more people. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, (3) esteem and (2)affection and respect along with a degree of rendering service to friends in times of need or crisis.
Friends will (5)welcome each other's company and exhibit loyalty towards each other, often to the point of altruism. Their taste will usually be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities. They will also engage in (7)mutually helping behaviour, such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviours. 7 characteristics of Moses's Friendship with God
1. Moses learnt from God as God taught him how to lead personally So the LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.” -Exo 4:11-12
2. God chose and believe in him when he doubt in himself So the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and He said: "Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And look, he is also coming out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do. So he shall be your spokesman to the people. -Exo 4: 14-15
3. God still chose Moses to represent Him And he himself shall be as a mouth for you, and you shall be to him as God.-Exo 4:16
4. Moses learnt to trust God And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.” So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was. -Exo 20:20-21
5. God and Moses had close relationship So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights. -Exo 24:18
6. Moses was straightforward as a friend to God Then Moses pleaded with the LORD his God, and said: “LORD, why does Your wrath burn hot against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand? Why should the Egyptians speak, and say, ‘He brought them out to harm them, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth’? Turn from Your fierce wrath, and relent from this harm to Your people. 7. God and Moses communicated personally (at least 104 times from Exo to Deu) And it came to pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses. -Exo 33:9 So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. -Exo 33:11
God's promise to Moses: His presence and glory Then Moses said to the LORD, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. Now it was so, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony were in Moses’ hand when he came down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him. -Exo 34: 29

Although Aaron has the talent, I would rather be Moses.As he was able to see God, and receive first hand information:)

Interview at the US Embassy was a success! Visa's approved. I'll be going US on the 13 Jun and back on the 26 Jul if I'm not wrong:) MUST MISS ME! HAHA!
Went for the interview tgt with the girls. After that, we ate lunch at Fish and Co. Glasshouse.. And celebrated my dearestest bday! Here's all our beeuuuuttttiiiifuuuullll picutres:)

Went Liting's house today:) We did shepherd's pie, almond brownie and agar tgt with bestie shing! It was fun! I enjoying cooking tgt with friends! Then we went for our CG BBQ at Tanan Merah!I'm so happy that Lovelle came! It's been 123567654321 days we haven met up!!!! Had great time talking and playing the frog game, which is adapted into the chicken version. And then, the animal game with Sharon being the funny kangaroo. Can't help but laugh! Uber funny! I can't really describe her expression to u. Really gotta be there!
Thereafter, I can't believe that we went for DURIAN! But i din eat any. Too heaty. I din even touch my favourite BBQ chicken wings cos I'm afraid I won't have voice for interview at the US Embassy tml! I CAN'T afford to fall sick man!!! NO WAY! Waited for my bro and his friends to join us for durian for an extended 10 min =.= AND I CAN'T believe it! The guy at the store gave us 4 free boxes of D24 durian, 2 boxes of papayas and 1 box of pineapple. Wonder who is he attacted to. LOL! I hope not the guys. There were only 4 of us who were girls there.
