HAPPY 21st Birthday Sermin!!!!
You have been a dear friend to me. And you know that!
It was a happy-sad day. For those who don't know, Jie Yong is my connect group leader. He has officially left N283 to another cell group. This cg was his last with N283 and service tml was his last with us too. Although it was Sermin's Bday on Fri, after hearing this news, most of us broke down. Of course, I couldn't take it too. Crying has been my forte, especially it's about.. relationship and separation.
I still remembered when I was first informed that I'm transfered to his connect group, I was elated, as I knew that I could learn so much from his life and I aim to catch as much as I could. I could say we aren't very close. We might be from the same cell group for at least 3 years, but I think the only starting point where we got to know each other was 2-3 months ago. It's just so short for me. Too short to get into a person's life. But I've learned much- the heart for God. I would never forget how we went beyond the spiritual disciplines. Thank you Jie Yong for leading the way.
I know I won't be on my own in this walk, there's still you and the rest of N283, and of course, God. I believe we'll all grow stronger in our spiritual walk with Him.
To Jieyong: I don't know if you'll read my blog. One of the very very memorable time I had with you was the time when I went over Liting's house to practice singing a song that you've composed in appreciation for N283. Although I couldn't remember the verses, the chorus meant a lot to me. I sang it with all my heart. I would like to dedicate it back to you:)
