ASIA CONFERENCE was simply AWESOME!
except the tornado experience while queueing. BUT.. it's all worth it:)
Love the electives I went for.. Effective Church Planting and Missions, Art of Worship Leading, Social Etiquette and Personal Grooming, Effective Counselling and Coping of Depression. They help me to gain insights of the skills that I believe will help me in the near future. I so wanna do Humanitarian Work!
Just a small lil testimony..
On the first day of AC my right eye was red due to wearing of contacts, on the second day after Pst Ulf's prayer, my eye was healed! :) PTL!
The services I went was Session 3 by Pst Ulf, Session 4 by Pst Ulf, Session 10 by Rev A.R. Benard and serving for Session 1 by Pst Kong and Session 9 by Pst Phil.
The sessions speak of
boldness in engaging the marketplace.
God gave us different talents and abilities to engage our own marketplace, however, it is not so that we could isolate ourselves from relationship with others, the Holy Spirit as well as our spirital disciplines.
On our own, we usually get weary and tired easily and even less motivated to serve others using our talents. Our hearts are willing, but most of the time our flesh is weak. We need to constantly renew our minds and build our faith. Work things out of revelation and not information -circumstances or even our own limited mindset.
At times, it takes us to make sacrificial decisions to obey the voice of the Holy spirit. It's our choice to step out of our comfort zones, lift the doubts up to God and believe for a breakthrough or just sit there and do nothing.
God is our Abba father, just like our natural father, He will protect us and would not put us to danger. He is not afraid of sending us to the marketplace as He has sent Jesus to die for us and has insulated us from the evil one!
No glory unto self, but ALL unto God.
Stand on His promises, God doesn't lie.
THINK, VISUALISE, BELIEVE, CONFESS.
We ACT upon love, be salt and light to that culture.
Transform a person and a place will be transformed.
