I felt greatly blessed by the Lord when I was reminded of how my upbringing and people in my life or used to be part of my life (teachers, friends, cell group members, children, leaders) have moulded my character in some ways which I felt really has benefited me now.
I learn to..
1. Be independent in all things that I do (from my mama).
2. To perservere (from my secondary school peers- special thanks to abra gang).
3. To be optimistic (from Mandy Zhang! I'll never forget the smiles on her face and her Words of the day which mean so much to me).
4. To love and bless people around me (from GuoXiong, Ger, Pear, Pam and my cell group members).
5. To do rather than say (from my mama).
6. To take risk and try things out (from Hsueh Min, Pam and my brother)
7. To seek solutions rather than focusing on the problem (from my secondary school teachers and Guo Xiong)
8. To value friendship (from my dad).
9. To value family ties (from my maternal uncles, aunts and my grandmother).
10. To intrinstically motivate and discipline myself (from my mama).
11. To seek help when needed (from church pastors and cell group members).
12. To have a spirit of excellence (from street jazz instructor, Ryan, church pastors and Huitian).
13. To enjoy learning as a process (from my Wheelock lecturer Dr Kosoff).
14. To do my best in everything that I do (from Jasmine Lim, she did her best no matter what the results are, positive or negative).
15. To live my life to the fullest (from Jesus).
